So what were the most popular genres for music streaming?. Hip-hop and rock took first and second place with 28 and 20 percent, respectively. What about last year's most consumed tune?. That would belong to Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus' smash hit, "Old Town Road," which was streamed 2.5 billion times.
