UPDATE: Michael Bloomberg Buying at Least $31 Million in TV Ads to Prepare for 2020 Presidential Run

President Barack Obama previously held the all-time weekly broadcast expenditure record of $24 million. According to Advertising Analytics, the former N.Y.C. Mayor has surpassed that number. The move comes as the billionaire prepares to seek the Democratic presidential nomination. The markets include Pennsylvania, Michigan and Florida. For Florida, the area of West Palm Beach is where the businessman has centered his investment. That is near the location of Mar-a-Lago, President Trump's personal resort. Representatives of Bloomberg say he may spend up to $100 million on his potential campaign. The philanthropist has also said he will spend $100 million on digital anti-Trump ads. Bloomberg is said to have a fortune of around $55 billion.
