Social Media Could Harm Teen Mental Health, Study Says

Social media has been linked to depression in teenagers, especially girls. The Lancet Child & Adolescent Health interviewed 10,000 children between the ages of 13 and 16. The research revealed that it is not social media itself which causes harm, but rather the disruption of positive activities. Russell Viner, Study author, via CNN Bob Patton, Lecturer, via CNN.
