Royal Caribbean International recently announced their partnership with the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) to assist in relief efforts following Hurricane Dorian. . Just as they did for Hurricane Maria in 2017, the cruise line intends to stock a portion of their ships with supplies to be delivered directly to the Bahamas. . These goods will include items such as cleaning supplies, generators and clean water. They’ve also deployed their trained employee volunteers, known as the “GO Team,” to give on-the-ground assistance. In addition, Royal Caribbean has pledged to donate $1 million and is currently coordinating with the local government to distribute it. . They also plan to match every donation, up to a total of $500,000, that is made to PADF for relief efforts in the Bahamas.
