Nearly 300 Released Following ICE Raids in Mississippi

Roughly half of the 680 arrested in Mississippi have been released.U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers conducted “record setting” raids of several food-processing plants throughout the state.The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Mississippi stated 30 detainees were released on "humanitarian grounds" to be with their children.600 ICE officers were involved in the raids that violated President Trump’s “zero tolerance” policy, which forbids separating migrant families.
