Lizzo Lands at No. 1 on 'Billboard' Hot 100 for Second Straight Week

Lizzo’s “Truth Hurts” topped the singles chart for a second week with 38,000 sold. "Truth Hurts" also had 34.7 million U.S. streams for the week ending Sept. 5. Her success has made her the sixth female rapper to ever hit No. 1 on the ‘Billboard’ Hot 100. In a recent interview, Lizzo revealed that she nearly quit the music industry when she first released "Truth Hurts" in 2017. Lizzo, via 'Elle' Now, her latest album, 'Cuz I Love You,' has landed as high as the No. 4 spot on the 'Billboard' 200. She is also set to star in the upcoming film, 'Hustlers,' alongside Keke Palmer, Cardi B, Jennifer Lopez and Constance Wu.
