General Mills Orders Flour Recall Over E. Coli Concerns

Over 600,000 pounds of the item could could be contaminated by E. Coli. Those who contract the strain often suffer from diarrhea-like symptoms for seven days. But an infection could turn serious in cases of senior citizens and children. The voluntary recall affects the brand's Gold Medal Unbleached All-Purpose Flour. The "use by" date of products that may be contaminated is September 6, 2020. Their label number is UPC 016000 196100. No illnesses related to General Mills' flour have yet to be reported.
