Longoria has signed on to direct 'Flamin' Hot,' the story of Richard and Judy Montanez. Richard, the son of a Mexican immigrant, was once a janitor at Frito-Lay. While employed by the company, he came up with Flamin' Hot Cheetos, a top-selling snack to this day. Longoria reportedly beat out numerous directors for the job. Lewis Colick wrote the script. DeVon Franklin will produce the film under Franklin Entertainment. Samuel Rodriguez will serve as executive producer. Other directorial projects Longoria is taking on include '24/7' and 'My Daughter's Quinceañera.'
